About The Children's Miracle Network and the Run For
The Kids Event
|
|
The CMN Run for the Kids Event
was conceived by enthusiastic
Wal-Mart
Associates in 2001 volunteering on the CMN
Committee at the Wal-Mart Distribution
Center in Raymond, NH. The management team and the CMN Committee Associates there, in
coordination with the local Wal-Mart stores
whole-heartedly supported this idea and
vision and the event took off the 1st weekend of August, 2002. |
|
A combination
of nearly 50 runners ran the 1st Annual 5k Road Race
which Starts and Finishes at the Pawtuckaway State Park in Nottingham, NH.
A
Kid's Fun Run was added to event in 2009. The
8th Annual CMN Run for the Kids
5K Road Race Event has grown with great
support making this truly a collective
community event. |
